Ferguson PRO Plus members double their donations

Ferguson PRO Plus™ members donated more than 500,000 points

Corporate News

During the Double the Donation campaign that ran earlier this year, Ferguson PRO Plus™ members donated more than 500,000 points and the company matched customer contributions point-for-point, donating a combined one million points to the following six corporately-sponsored nonprofit organizations:

  • American Red Cross
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • The Humane Society of the United States
  • Operation Homefront
  • PHCC Educational Foundation

Through the PRO Plus™ program, Ferguson teamed up with select vendors to provide loyal customers with discounts on services, helping manage and promote their businesses at a reduced cost. Customers can earn points for their online purchases and then redeem those points for prizes, trips and event tickets. Customers choose to receive discounted services, points or a combination of the two. More than 16,500 customers are currently enrolled in the free program.

Since 2015, members have been able to donate their points to select nonprofit organizations. Ferguson recently added its national community partner, Homes for Our Troops, to the list of corporately-sponsored organizations. Members donate points in 2,500 increments and Ferguson grants funds to the seven organizations based on the customers’ allocated points.

“Ferguson named the PHCC Educational Foundation as one of the select charities eligible to receive contributions through the PRO Plus™ rewards program,” said PHCC Foundation chairperson Roger Peugeot. “That nicely compliments the support for industry education Ferguson is already providing through the Foundation and gives contractor customers the choice of giving something back to help improve our profession.”

“Thank you for supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential,” Sondra Madison, National vice president of Operations & Collaborative Strategies wrote in a letter to Ferguson. “Our work would not be possible without friends like you, and your generosity on behalf of America's youth is greatly appreciated. Together, we are building great futures for our nation's most precious resource - our youth.”

Ferguson is committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work. It’s a challenge we share with our associates, customers and vendors. Supporting our communities, families, the military and education is not that different from what we do every day – providing what it takes to keep a wide range of good things going, making everyone’s lives better.
