Ferguson CFO Dave Keltner was recently named CFO of the Year by Virginia Business magazine. The award recognizes Chief Financial Officers whose ingenuity and dedication have led to success for their companies, their staff and their professional careers. Keltner was honored in the Publicly Traded Companies’ category.
Keltner joined Ferguson 23 years ago as Vice President of Construction Lending for the Erb Lumber subsidiary of Stock Building Supply. In 1999, he was named Vice President of Construction Lending for Stock before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer seven years later. During his tenure as CFO, Keltner has guided a team of associates who have overseen 75 successful acquisitions and integrations, including 35 over the past six years that have added $1.1 billion to Ferguson’s annual sales. His leadership and business approach have helped propel Ferguson to unprecedented post-recession growth.
