Ferguson expands geotextile and erosion control capabilities through recent acquisition
Also acquires plumbing and PVF distributor in Florida region
Ferguson Enterprises, the largest plumbing distributor in the U.S. and a major supplier of waterworks products, announces the acquisitions of Innovative Soil Solutions and Action Plumbing Supply.
Innovative Soil Solutions
Founded in 2012, Innovative Soil Solutions provides erosion control solutions and geosynthetics throughout Texas. The company operates three Texas locations: Arlington, Austin and San Antonio.
“Innovative Soil Solutions complements our traditional Waterworks business and is a natural expansion of our business,” said Ferguson CEO Kevin Murphy. “Through our expanded product offering, we will offer capabilities in geotextiles and erosion control solutions in Texas.”
Action Plumbing Supply
Action Plumbing Supply is a leading supplier of commercial products and a key industrial PVF distributor in southeast Florida. In business since 1978, the company has two locations in Margate and Lake Worth, Florida. The company will rebrand as Action Plumbing Supply, a Ferguson enterprise.
“The acquisition of Action Plumbing Supply will allow us to better serve West Palm customers and enhance our reach and competitiveness in the commercial market,” continued Murphy.
