Ferguson helps LA designers bring high style to 2016 Pasadena Showcase House of Design
The company is honored to support the creative designers transforming this year’s mission-style home
Friday, April 8, 2016Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery is pleased to announce its first year participating in the Pasadena Showcase House of the Arts (PSHA), one of the oldest, largest and most successful house and garden tours in the nation. The company is honored to support the creative designers transforming this year’s mission style home, once known as Dryborough Hall, into a showcase gem.
Legacy showcase designer, Phill Vonk of DC Christjan (dchristjan.com), selected appliances, faucets, fixtures and decorative lighting from Ferguson to complete his European design concept for the Guest Kitchen, Breakfast Room and adjacent Laundry Room. In addition to providing showcase attendees with a unique example of how to modernize a kitchen while complimenting a home’s classic architecture, Vonk’s design will include sleek stainless steel Sub-Zero | Wolf appliances, Modern Architectural faucets by Rohl, as well as a variety of decorative lighting selected from the Ferguson showroom on Lake Boulevard in Pasadena. Ferguson also provided decorative lighting for additional participating designers throughout the showcase house.
“I was more than thrilled to take on the design challenges our Guest House rooms presented, said Vonk. “We removed unnecessary walls and basically started over with a fresh palette to spotlight our capabilities in high-end kitchen design and custom cabinetry, added Vonk. “Ferguson’s support allowed us to create a beautiful, comfortable and highly functional new kitchen with top brands for our modern-meets-traditional concept.”
Ferguson’s Pasadena showroom is approaching its one-year anniversary this summer. “I couldn’t think of a better way to support our community and celebrate this milestone,” says Caralyn Dejong, showroom manager of Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery in Pasadena. “We are honored to be a part of an annual tradition that has showcased design talent and fostered music programs for more than half a century.”
