Ferguson names new chief marketing officer

“Mike has been instrumental in leading both our B2B and B2C e-commerce channels,” said Ferguson CEO Frank Roach.

Ferguson is pleased to announce Mike Brooks has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Brooks has led the company’s eBusiness efforts since 2007 as Vice President of eBusiness for the North American Region. In his new role, he is responsible for expanding on new business development and meeting the rapidly changing needs of our customers.

“Mike has been instrumental in leading both our B2B and B2C e-commerce channels,” said Ferguson CEO Frank Roach. “Bringing our e-commerce and marketing teams together under Mike’s leadership will strengthen our omni-channel approach to the market and create a consistent world-class customer service experience across the country, culminating a national Ferguson brand.”

“I’m excited to work with a great team of associates,” said Brooks. “We recognize our customers’ needs are changing, and together, we will focus on areas where we can enhance and exceed their expectations everywhere they transact with us – whether in a Ferguson branch, online or over the phone.”

Brooks joined Ferguson’s parent company, Wolseley plc, in 1997 as the Director of Information Technology for Stock Building Supply. He was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology in 2001, and became Vice President of Information Systems and Technology for the North American Region in 2005. Brooks is a graduate of Fanshawe College in London and received his MBA at the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He currently serves on Oracle’s eCommerce Customer Advisory Board and as a board member of the Lackey Clinic.
