Ferguson Ventures, the Corporate Venture capital and strategic partnering arm for Ferguson, has provided investment for HOMEE’s Series B financing round. Through the HOMEE On Demand app, a real-time, GPS-based mobile platform, HOMEE instantly links homeowners and property managers with qualified heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and general handyman services. It has been described as the “Uber” of home repair. HOMEE just announced it has closed a $15 million Series B financing, bringing the total invested in the company to nearly $30 million.

With an overwhelming consumer need for quick and seamless access to maintenance, installation and repair services, HOMEE satisfies this need while also growing Ferguson’s HVAC and plumbing customers’ business. “This investment closely aligns with Ferguson Ventures' vision to provide innovators focused on the Built World with the resources, industry expertise and capital necessary to launch transformation in the construction and services industries that will create a better future for trade professionals,” said Kevin Barnes, Vice President of Ferguson Ventures.

“We launched HOMEE three years ago to change the way homeowners and landlords order home services. Our revolutionary on-demand model which ensures our customers the highest quality service at the most competitive price is why we have gained the trust of some of the largest property owners in the country.” said HOMEE co-founder and CEO, Doug Schaedler. “This financing round is especially exciting for the Company as we are pleased to have the participation of three innovative leaders within the insurance industry and Ferguson Ventures. We look forward to working with all our new strategic partners and servicing their home improvement needs across the country.”

Using GPS-enabled smartphone technology, HOMEE service providers accept new requests under a minute on average and are at the job location for repairs, improvements, or maintenance in an average of 30 minutes or less. Every service provider is background-checked and screened by HOMEE’s operations team and is continually monitored by the app’s provider rating system to ensure ongoing quality service.
